Student Awards
This award enables students to pursue interdisciplinary research projects within the Centre’s mandate.
ELIGIBILITY: New and returning graduate student members, including visiting students, are eligible to apply. Post-doctoral members are not eligible for this funding.
DEADLINE: February 1st, 4pm [If the deadline falls on a weekend/holiday, applications will be accepted through the following business day at 4pm].

Travel Awards
This award aims to support student members presenting their own work at a conference worldwide.
ELIGIBILITY: Graduate student and postdoctoral members, as well as visiting graduate students, are eligible to apply.
DEADLINES: If the deadline falls on a weekend/holiday, applications will be accepted through the following business day at 4pm:
- Round 1: March 15th, 4pm: For travel between May 15th and September 14th.
- Round 2: June 15th, 4pm: For travel between September 15th and January 14th.
- Round 3: December 1st, 4pm: For travel between January 15th and May 14th.

Online Conference Awards
CIRMMT will continue to offer this award to cover fees related to online conferences only.
ELIGIBILITY: Applicants must be a CIRMMT student supervised by a regular CIRMMT member.
DEADLINE: Applicants may apply for ONE Online Conference Award per round, according to the following schedule:
- Round 1: from June 16 to December 1
- Round 2: from December 2 to March 15
- Round 3: from March 16 to June 15

Student Outreach Funding
This outreach award aims to incentivize students to develop interactive methods of presenting their CIRMMT research, particularly through a pedagogical task primarily within Quebec and Canada.
ELIGIBILITY: All current, graduate and postdoctoral CIRMMT student members, including visiting students, are eligible to apply.
DEADLINE: Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and are reviewed on a monthly basis at the CIRMMT Executive Committee meetings. No applications will be reviewed when the Executive Committee is not in session.

ResonatorTube Contributor Funding
With this award, students are invited to conceive and help produce entertaining and educational videos, to be shared on a dedicated YouTube channel. Applicants will be supported by the ResonatorTube team, and need not have any particular experience with audio or video production.

The Inter-centre exchange funding aims to support student members conducting research within the Centre’s mandate at a recognized institution.

Les fonds de recherche du Québec (FRQ) awards
The FRQ have various fundings available to students and members.
Agile Seed Funding
This award aims to foster the exploration of new and innovative topics amongst members across the Centre's four Research Axes.
ELIGIBILITY: The Principal Investigator must be a CIRMMT Regular member or CIRMMT Post-Doctoral student for projects to be eligible. Applications can be either in the form of exploratory projects or pilot studies/projects in preparation of grant applications. Renewals will not be accepted.
DEADLINES: If the deadline falls on a weekend/holiday, applications will be accepted through the following business day at 4pm:
- Round 1: April 5th, 4pm
- Round 2: October 5th, 4pm
