The MRI-Compatible Cello is a CIRMMT/BRAMS project developed by former PhD student Avrum Hollinger and his supervisor, former CIRMMT Director Marcelo M. Wanderley in collaboration with Robert Zatorre (CIRMMT member and BRAMS co-Director, McGill MNI), Virginia Penhune (CIRMMT Collaborator, Concordia University) and CIRMMT student member Melanie Segado.
"The Design, Implementation, and Testing of a Sensitized MRI-Compatible Cello," was published in this month's issue of IEEE Sensors Journal. The MRI-Compatible Cello was also featured on the front cover of the same issue. A preliminary version of this paper received the best student paper award at the 2013 IEEE Sensors conference.
