Workshop on verbal data analysis

This workshop is organized by CIRMMT Research Axis 4 (Multimodal immersive systems). It will take place on June 6, in A832 (New Music Building). This workshop is free and open to all. Registration is required.

Description

The workshop focuses on different types of verbal data analyses, in terms of what is being said (content analysis), how is it being said (linguistic analysis) and what inferences can be made about sensory experiences (psycholinguistics). In the morning, speakers will illustrate different types of analyses with research questions related to the sense of hearing (e.g. sound quality evaluation, music creation process, auditory comfort, soundscapes, user experience). Presentations will be followed by a round table in the afternoon.

Participants can indicate any specific interest they have, or topic they would like to discuss, and/or let us know if they would like to present in the comments field of the registration form.

This workshop has been organized by Catherine Guastavino.
