This workshop is organized by CIRMMT Research Axis 3 (Musical information retrieval, archiving and analysis). It will take place on January 18th, in A832 (New Music Building). This workshop is free and open to all. Registration is required.

Description

Tuning - the study of exact intervallic relationships between the pitches of a musical system, composition, or performance - lies at the intersection of several music-related disciplines. In a series of short papers, the speakers will demonstrate their various approaches and join in discussion of the issues raised.
