CIRMMT member and Co-Director of BRAMS, Isabelle Peretz, is cited on the CBC as part of a new study published in the journal Brain. The study indicates that people who are tone-deaf lack white matter, the part of the brain that contains nerve fibres covered in a white insulation called myelin. Researchers from the MNI and Université de Montréal conducted the study.
