Marcelo Wanderley, CIRMMT former director, Pat Metheny and Allan Kozinn were chosen as the three judges for the 2016 Guthman Musical Instrument Competition to take place on March 2-3, 2016 at Georgia Tech in Atlanta, GA:

The Guthman Competition started in 2009 and is the main event where musicians and researchers present novel instrument designs (acoustic and electronic). Three prizes are awarded each year for best innovative designs.
