Description
The Journées Feedback provide a forum for exchange on the expressive potential of feedback interpretation in music. Networking, the sharing of technical, theoretical and conceptual knowledge, the advancement of research-creation work and sound creation are at the heart of the meetings. For this 3rd edition, we are honored to welcome Preston Beebe, internationally renowned percussionist, composer and sound artist, to talk about his latest performance: Living Systems.
Registration and call for presentations
The Journées Feedback invites artists, lecturers and researchers who integrate feedback into their practice to submit their applications.
Eligibility criteria:
- Use feedback in artistic practice, research or research-creation.
- Give a 30–60 minute presentation on your artistic practice.
- Innovative proposals will be favoured.
Your proposal should include a single PDF with the following elements:
- Project description with an overview of the theme and objective (Maximum 500 words)
- Type of presentation: workshop, conference or other
- Artistic approach (Maximum 300 words)
- Curriculum vitae (Maximum 3 pages)
- Technical sheet with a list of equipment required for the activity. (Audio, video, other)
- Visual documentation. (Maximum of 10 images)
- Video or audio documentation (Vimeo or YouTube links)

For selected projects, we will provide:
- A performance hall
- Technical assistance
- Technical equipment (audio and video)
- Promotion of the event
