Biography

Dani Kogan, Senior Technical Audio Designer at Eidos Montréal

Dani KoganDani is a Principal Technical Sound Designer, dedicated to advancing video game development. With a game design background from Vancouver Film School and C++ programming, he bridges the gap between sound and game design.

Starting as a gameplay scripter at Larian Studios in 2016, he worked on Divinity Original Sin II. Dani’s passion for audio soon led him to specialize in Technical Sound Design, blending programming, design, and sound. He worked on Baldur's Gate 3 designing and implementing Gameplay sound Systems.

Since joining Eidos in 2022, he continues to find new ways of integrating game design and sound design through the power of code. Outside work, Dani helps organize community events in Montreal and Quebec City. He also enjoys creating DSP plugins, electronic music and sharing hummus.
