Description

World Voice Day (WVD) is a global event to educate the public that VOICE MATTERS! This year McGill’s School of Communication Sciences and Disorders (SCSD), Department of Otolaryngology, and CIRMMT will organize the WVD seminar to promote voice care to the Montreal community.

The seminar will include singing performances, updates on voice research around Montreal, and information on how singing and music help to keep aging voices sounding top-notch. Local experts including an otolaryngologist and researchers from speech-language pathology and music will discuss voice in the aging population. The presenters will also answer questions about voice from the audience. There will be free voice screenings held after the seminar.
