Workshop on string instruments with Gabriel Weinreich

This workshop is organized by CIRMMT Research Axis 1 (Sound modeling, acoustics and signal processing). It will take place on November 21st, in Clara Lichtenstein Hall (Strathona Music Building). This workshop is free and open to all. Registration is required.

Description

This workshop will consist of an open discussion session with Gabriel Weinreich on topics related to string instrument analyses and/or measurements.  Participants are encouraged to come with questions, as well as short presentations (computer projection or otherwise) to introduce their research to Dr. Weinreich.  Attendance is open to both the scientific and music communities.

Lunch will be available from 12:00pm and the workshop discussions will start at 12:45pm.
