Description

This is a workshop on guitar design, composite materials vs traditional materials. Specifically, we will have two views on guitar design from two guest speakers: Robert Godin from Godin Guitars and John Decker from Rainsong Instruments.  The workshop will start with a presentation on the basics of materials and composite materials from a layman’s point-of-view in order to facilitate understanding of the two design presentations.  The subsequent discussions will focus on the merits of the two design methodologies and emerging trends for the future.
