Workshop on the relationship between gestures and composition/performance

This workshop is organized by CIRMMT Research Axis 6 (expanded musical practice). It will take place on December 7th, in A832 (New Music Building). This workshop is free and open to all. Registration is required.

Description

This workshop is concerned with issues and challenges– both technological and artistic– related to the usage of gestures in composition and performance. Participants will present their recent works or recent projects, and will adress topics related to mapping, sensors, notation and interactivity.
