An Internet Multi-sensory Experience
On November 28th the Kevin Dean Quartet performed in Montreal at the Schulich School of Music while attendees in Toronto watched the performance live on a widescreen video display (16:9 format) with multichannel (6-channel) sound.
CIRMMT approved by Board of Governors and Senate
McGill University's Board of Governors and Senate approved the establishment of the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Music Media and Technology within the Schulich School of Music.

On Saturday, September 23, 2000, as part of the 109th Audio Engineering Society Convention in Los Angeles, the McGill Jazz Orchestra, conducted by Gordon Foote, performed in McGill's Redpath Hall.
