This workshop is open to all CIRMMT members.
Description
The workshop on wind instruments will be the opportunity to meet and share ideas with researchers in the acoustics modeling and motion capture of wind instruments, and to highlight possible interdisciplinary approaches to the study of wind instruments. The morning session (9 a.m. to 12:30 a.m.) as well as the afternoon session (2 p.m. to 5 p.m.) will both balance talks and round tables, in order to facilitate discussions.
Registrations
Registrations are opened on a first-come first-served basis (30-35 seats):

Joint event
CIRMMT members and the public are also invited to a special lecture by Jean Kergomard (LMA/CNRS), following the workshop on February 21, 2008. Jean Kergomard is the 5th presenter in this year's series of CIRMMT Distinguished Lectures in the Science and Technology of Music.
