Description
Extended instruments aim to expand the boundaries of existing instruments in order to achieve new ways of performing music. What kinds of extensions are desirable, how does one achieve successfully such transformations – and why even try to do so when electronics could potentially fulfill the same role?
This workshop, which will take the form of a roundtable, will provide a forum for discussion on the technological and artistic research conducted over fifty years by Italian composer, Mario Bertoncini.
