Biography

Viviana Caro

Viviana Caro is a Senior Sound Artist at Electronic Arts (EA) and has worked in audio for 20 years with a Music degree in Sound Engineering from Javeriana University and a diploma in Sound Design from VFS.

Born and raised in Colombia, she moved to Canada in 2011 to pursue her career in game audio. As a visible minority in her field, Viviana has been actively involved in mentoring and supporting women working in game audio at EA.

She is an expert in documentary animal sounds and an interactive audio specialist. Since 2011 she has worked on titles such as Need For Speed, FIFA, and Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville. She also enjoys sharing her knowledge and has worked online with students at the School of Video Game Audio since 2014.

In all of her audio work she is dedicated to providing a positive message to her audience and is currently working on EA’s latest Skate title.
