Description
World Voice Day (WVD) is a global event to educate the public that VOICE MATTERS! This year the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders (SCSD), CIRMMT, Schulich School of Music and Royal Victoria Hospital Voice Clinic, will organize the WVD seminar to promote voice care to the community.
The theme of this year is "Reflux and Voice". Voice experts including laryngologists, speech language pathologists and singing professors w ill explain the causes, risk factors, prevention and treatment for reflux and injured voice commonly seen in singers, teachers, voice actors and other voice professionals. The experts will also answer questions about voice from the audience.
